How to Use Your P-tainer

The P-tainer Kit
Let's take a brief look at what the items in our P-tainer kit are called and what they are used for:
- Plastic P-tainer - This will sit on the top 50% of your glans, and will allow you to roll your loose shaft skin onto the device
- Silicone Gripper - Used to hold the shaft skin once rolled onto the body of the P-tainer after you slide it over the round end of the P-tainer
- P-tainer Bulge - This screws into the end of the P-tainer ensuring a stealthy wearing experience - it also reduces residual urine from dripping out of the P-tainer

Clean skin and P-tainer
Ensure your skin and the device are clean, free of oils, and fully dry.
Tips!
- Wash the P-tainer and gripper with dish soap (dawn works well)
- Wash your skin with gentle non-moisturizing soap (castile soap works well)
- Fully dry the P-tainer, Gripper, and your skin and pull your skin below the glans
Fit Gripper Over P-tainer
- Slip the gripper over the neck of the P-tainer (the narrow side)
- Ensure the gripper's dots and line are facing out
- Flip the gripper up to prepare to put the retainer on
Place P-tainer on Exposed Glans
Align the frenulum notch with the frenulum area on the underside of your glans
Roll your loose skin over the body of the P-tainer as far as you can comfortably
Flip the gripper down to hold your skin in place (more details below)
Tips!
To make flipping the gripper down easier, use the following technique:
- Group your thumb, pointer, middle, and index finger together, placing them evenly around the gripper while it is flipped up
- Hold your skin in place on the body of the P-tainer with your other hand
- Press the edge of the gripper down with the fingers evenly until it flips over the skin and holds it in place
Adjust the gripper
Adjusting your skin under the gripper is critical to comfort and optimal grip
- Gently pinch the gripper with two fingers to allow you to pull excess skin below the line
- Continue doing this all the way around the retainer until there is no skin bunching
- If you pull too much skin out or didnt get your skin all the way up to the line, flip the gripper back up and start the process again

Hold on to the P-tainer when screwing any accessories in, and go about your day, removing anything screwed in before attempting to pee through the device.
